Item Description

2 Bottles of L’Ecole N° 41 Wine from the Columbia/Walla Walla Valley

L’Ecole N° 41 crafts reliable, superior-quality wines known for their richness & complexity, vintage after vintage. We dedicate ourselves to obtaining the highest quality fruit to create premium varietal wines.

L’Ecole N° 41 is a third-generation family-owned, artisan winery located in the historic Frenchtown School depicted on our label.  Founded in 1983, we were the third winery established in the Walla Walla Valley.  We have become one of the most prominent and visible Walla Walla Valley wineries with national and international distribution.

2021 L’Ecole N° 41 Syrah: Washington State’s winegrowing region is ideally suited to maximize the full expression of Syrah. Spicy, rich, and complex, with soft tannins and bright acidity, our Columbia Valley Syrah is the perfect food pairing wine. This full-bodied Syrah shows robust, fruit-forward aromas of blackberry, cassis, and black plum accentuated with hints of violet, black peppercorn, and anise. Dark fruit flavors laced with spice reveal themselves on the palate with a rich, mouth-filling, and velvety finish.

2021 L’Ecole N° 41 Cabernet Sauvignon: For over 40 years, L’Ecole has built long-term partnerships with the oldest and most proven vineyards, providing access to some of the best fruit in the Columbia Valley. With an average vine age of more than 20 years, this wine shows a classic Cabernet Sauvignon profile of firm structure, integrated tannins, and dark expressive fruit. With its classic Cabernet profile, this expressive wine shows layers of dark fruits, cocoa, graphite, thyme, and espresso accented by a subtle hint of lavender. The palate showcases blackberry, cassis, and herb flavors leading to a flavorful finish supported by fine tannins.
