Artist: Jeremiah Nickerson
Jeremiah Nickerson is an accomplished artist and educator based in Harwich, Massachusetts. A native of Chatham, he has a deep connection to the Cape Cod community, which influences much of his work. Jeremiah specializes in sculpture and ceramics, creating pieces that blend intricate craftsmanship with a keen artistic vision.
Jeremiah holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for sculpture. He furthered his education with a Master's degree from Bridgewater State, expanding his expertise and refining his approach to both teaching and creating.
In addition to his work as an artist, Jeremiah teaches art at Monomoy Regional High School, where he inspires the next generation of creative minds. His dedication to his craft and his students reflects his commitment to the arts and education.
Outside of his professional life, Jeremiah is a family man, married with three daughters. His family provides constant support and inspiration, grounding him as both an artist and an educator. Through his work, Jeremiah continues to enrich the artistic community on Cape Cod, contributing to its vibrant cultural landscape.
