Gail Rousseau began her journey into photography at the NE School of Photography, Boston, MA and continued on to the NH Institute of Arts, Manchester, NH and Nikon School at Regis College, Weston, MA. In 2009 she received a scholarship to study Digital Fine Art Printing with George DeWolfe at the Maine Media College in Rockport, ME. Printing and darkroom work was always her favorite part of the art of making a photograph. Rousseau's images have been shown at The Lincoln-Levy Gallery, Portsmouth, NH, The Brush Gallery, Lowell, MA, NH Institute of Art Juried Biennial Show, Barrett Art Center, Poughkeepsie, NY, and the AAM.
"Her New Shovel" is part of a project that follows the on going small adventures of a unique and charming doll named "3".
Online bidding for this item CLOSES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29th, AT 5PM.
Final bidding will take place in-person during the LIVE AUCTION event on Saturday, November 1st. If you're unable to attend the live auction, you can leave a "high bid" amount online (no later than October 29th, 5pm EST) and the auctioneer will represent your bid during the live event.

Item Special Note
A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.
The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6th – 8th, 2025. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 14th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 7th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
