The Res is a 23-acre youth camp and nature center located on the east side of Mishawaka, Indiana. Surrounded by urban uses, the heavily wooded grounds are habitat to a wide variety of birds, animals, and wild flowers.
Originally founded in 1920 as a Boy Scout Reservation, “The Res” is now owned by the non-profit organization, The Preservation of the Res, Inc. The Board of Directors consists of 15 members who represent the local community and the Charter Members of the Preservation of the Res, Inc.
