With engaging permanent and rotating exhibits and out of this world programming, MOSI makes science and technology accessible to all. Come join us on a journey of discovery and unlock the mysteries of the world around us.
An example of just some of the exhibits are:
LIVEcycles – Butterfly Garden
An outdoor exhibit included with admission. Guests can walk around the enclosure filled with native plant species and spot several species of butterflies that hide among the flowers. There is also a metamorphosis viewing station where visitors can see caterpillars collected from the butterfly enclosure transform into and emerge from their chrysalis. The garden is a small calm oasis that adults and curious little ones can both enjoy.
SCILinx– mini golf
Get ready to tee off at MOSI’s new outdoor, nine-hole miniature golf course! Designed for ages 4 and up, this science-themed course blends fun and learning in our Science Park.
Each hole features a different science theme. Putt with prehistoric dinosaurs. Explore physics through angles and force. Take a swing on the moon and learn about gravity! Whether you’re a golf pro or brand new, SciLinx Mini Golf is a fun challenge for all ages.
 
Aviation Evolution
Navigate through an interactive maze where the marvels of aviation come to life at every turn.
Engage with walls that respond to your touch, solve puzzles that unravel the history of flight, and test your skills by crafting paper aircrafts – all with a real experimental aircraft suspended overhead!

Virtual Reality

This dynamic, interactive zone features a rotating selection of self-guided science activities for all ages. Here, MOSI scientists explore new ideas and cutting-edge technology. Watch our 3D printers bring both practical and playful objects to life—and even try your hand at classic games made with 3D printing! Don’t miss our exciting up-close science demos happening throughout the day.
 
FLIGHT CLUB DRONE ZONE
Engage with state-of-the-art drones showcasing the latest advancements in aerial robotics. Take control of real drones, completing exciting challenges and racing friends.
