K. Paulette

Kent Paulette is a self-taught artist who uses uninhibited, energetic brush strokes to create paintings that leap off the canvas, alive with color, texture, and movement.  Paulette lives in North Carolina where he paints in a studio overlooking the mountains.  He finds inspiration from the natural world that surrounds him and regularly hops into the mountain creek in his backyard to help rejuvenate his spirit and senses.

Artist Kent Paulette begins the process of creating a hand-embellished giclée by taking a photograph of one of his original paintings. He then has that image printed on canvas using archival inks. This is called a giclée and it’s stretched on 1.5″ deep wood stretcher bars. He then makes it one of a kind by painting on the giclée using acrylic paint, brushes, and palette knives. Paulette finishes the hand-embellished giclée by signing it. It doesn’t need to be framed. It comes ready to hang with a wire and 1.5″ gallery-wrapped painted edges.

This one measures 7 3/4 X 7 3/4 and i ready to be hung and add color and style to your home or office.
