Tony Kinslow serves as the vice president for human resources at Case Western Reserve University since June 16, 2003. At Case, Kinslow will develop human resources policies and programs covering organizational planning and development, employment, education and training, employee relations, compensation, benefits and employee services.

Tony Kinslow has served as the director of employee relations for the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) for the past two years. His duties in addition to Employee Relations include Disability and Leave Administration, and Caltech's Affirmative Action Officer. He also provided leadership to the Post Doctoral Scholars & Visitors Office and the Staff and Faculty International Scholars Services Office during interim periods. Tony served as Caltech's HIPAA Compliance Officer and served on two Caltech affiliated boards (Caltech Childcare Center and Women's Center Advisory). Prior to that, Tony worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as Director of Human Resources over Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Staffing, Temporary Services, Training and Organizational Development before being selected as Executive Director of Human Resources for Vanderbilt's affiliate hospital, Metropolitan Nashville General Hospital. Before working at Vanderbilt, Tony had employment experience as an attorney and human resources professional in government and private industry. He has worked in Human Resources for more than 10 years.

Tony has also served on community service boards such as: the Graduate Healthcare Curriculum Advisory Board for Tennessee State University; and the Cal-Coast Baseball Academy Board which improved facilities and provided training to children. Tony has also been a Team Captain for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Annual Walkathon.

Tony holds a BA in Economics from California State University Sacramento, an MA in International Relations from University Southern California, and a JD from Vanderbilt School of Law. Tony is admitted to the Tennessee and Mississippi Bar Associations. He is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and College & University Personnel Association (CUPA).

Tony holds the rank of Lt. Col. in the Air National Guard and has 22 years of combined service with the active Air Force and Air National Guard. His decorations include the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Commendation Medals and an Outstanding Unit Citation.

Tony was born in Nashville, TN and grew up in Winchester, TN. Tony is married to Ms. Carla L. Alexander of Cedartown, GA. He has three sons Craig age 17, Anthony age 14 and Nickolas age 9.
