Dennis J. Roche was named Interim President of the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland (CVB) in March 2003. He is responsible for the marketing and promotion of Greater Cleveland as a prime destination in the Midwest for leisure travel and conventions and meetings.
Prior to his position with the CVB, Roche was Chief Operating Officer for the Greater Cleveland Growth Association since January 1996. He also served as Assistant General Manager for Finance and Administration at the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, and as Director of the Office of Budget and Management for Cuyahoga County. His county budget plans won three national awards for excellence and 14 awards for financial and budget excellence from the Government Financial Officers Association.
A graduate of St. Edward High School and a three-time graduate of Cleveland State University, Dennis has strong ties to the Cleveland community. He serves as Chairman of the boards of Lakewood Hospital and the Citizen League Research Institute, and as a Trustee of the boards of St. Edward High School and Park Works. He also serves as a member of the Visiting Committees for the College of Education & Human Services and the Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University.
His 25 years in leadership positions for Cuyahoga County, his other public service and his current tenure at the Growth Association have earned Dennis the respect of government, business and community leaders of Northeast Ohio.
Dennis and his wife Kathy have three children and reside in Lakewood, Ohio.

The executives will meet with the winning bidders at a time convenient to both parties, on or before December 1, 2004.
