Patrick V. Auletta is president for KeyBank National Association. Pat heads middle market commercial banking activities delivered through the KeyCenter network.
Previously, he served as vice chairman and group executive for KeyBank. Prior to that, the Corporate Banking executive for KeyCorp's Great Lakes Group, with responsibility for KeyCorp's Corporate Banking activities in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Before that he was regional president of the Greater Cleveland Region of KeyCorp affiliate, the former Society National Bank. Auletta also serves as a director of KeyBank.
Pat joined Society (now KeyCorp) as a part-time employee in the MasterCard Department while attending John Carroll University where he majored in management. After receiving his B.S. degree in business administration in May 1972, he joined the management training program and was named a commercial banking officer in the Ohio Division in 1974.
Pat, promoted to assistant vice president in June 1976, was elected vice president and named manager of the Ohio Division in January 1978. In 1981 he was elected senior vice president and named manager of the Metropolitan Division.
Pat was named manager of the Large Corporate Division in 1986 and manager of the Private Industries Division in 1987 before being elected executive vice president and manager of the Commercial Banking Group in 1988. He was elected senior executive vice president in May 1990.
Active in the Cleveland community, Pat is a Trustee on the Boards of The Cleveland Clinic, John Carroll University, the Cleveland Catholic Diocese and the Visiting Nurse Association. He is also Chairman of the Capital Campaign at John Carroll University.
