Scope of Position: Mr. Heisler is responsible for the 27 district presidents in their franchise responsibilities and for building the company's operating Key philosophy in conjunction with each of the lines of business and support organizations. Formerly, he was president of Key Capital Partners, KeyCorp's business group that provides brokerage, capital markets, insurance, investment banking and asset management expertise to business and private clients on a national basis. In that role he had direct responsibility for Key's insurance, wealth management, principal investing, and asset management businesses, (including Key Asset Management, Institutional Asset Services and proprietary mutual funds).

Education: Heisler graduated cum laude in 1970 with a B.A. in biochemistry from Harvard College and received his M.B.A. in 1974 from Kent State University. At Kent he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an honorary business fraternity for academic excellence and was the 1996 recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award. He also received a diploma from the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University (1976), the Commercial Lending School at Oklahoma University (1977), the bank executive management program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (1987), and the Harvard Graduate Business School's Program for Management Development (1988).

Affiliations: Heisler currently serves as a director for FirstEnergy Corp., treasurer of the Musical Arts Association, member Board of Governors, Firestone Country Club and as a trustee on the boards of Business Volunteers Unlimited, The Union Club, Harvard Business School of Cleveland, Kent State University Foundation (Chair/Development Committee), Ohio High School Athletic Association, and is president of 'Leadership Cleveland' class of 1993.
