Harvey Wiseberg is President of Advanced Technology Advisors, a firm that is involved in strategic market management. Prior to the formation of Advanced Technology Advisors , he was with Booz Allen and Hamilton, where he conducted a number of business and manufacturing strategy studies for the Fortune 500 companies.
During the past twenty years with Advanced Technology Advisors he has developed and directed a number of advanced technology market strategy studies focusing on critical competitive intelligence issues for large and mid -size companies, both public and private. Some of the major clients have been: General Telephone & Electronics, McDermott International, East Ohio Gas, Becton - Dickenson, Analog Devices, Honeywell Inc., Progress Wire Inc. and Scott- Fetzer Company.
Some of the industry segments of participation are: Machine Tools, Chemicals/ Plastics, Aircraft/ Aerospace, Transportation, Healthcare Electronics/ Electrical Instrumentation/ Controls, Telecommunications
Harvey has also made a number of presentations and conducted seminars at companies such as: 3M, Raytheon, General Electric, Warner - Lambert, and Norton Company, focusing on topics that included project management and improving market development using competitor intelligence. Based on Harvey's broad industrial technology experience base he has developed and published a number of focused technology industry market studies in the areas of machine tools, material handling, industrial valves, and factory communication and assembly technology.
Harvey is a graduate mechanical engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree (BSME) from Lowell Technological Institute. He also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of New Haven.
Currently, Harvey is an active member in the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Association for Corporate Growth, Cleveland Engineering Society and Northeast Ohio Chapter of Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP). He is one of the local SCIP chapter founders and first chapter coordinators. In 1994/ 1995 Harvey was one of three people in the U S to receive the prestigious "Catalyst" award from SCIP.
