During his entire career as an attorney, Mr. Weinberg's focus has been on the representation of creditors. He was certified in 1997 by the Commercial Law League Of America as a Creditors' Rights Specialist. He has been an attorney with Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. since January 1975. He became a partner with the firm in December 1978 and has been the managing partner of the firm since 1995. The firm has almost 800 employees between nine offices. The Ohio offices are located in Cleveland, Brooklyn Heights, Columbus, Grove City, and Cincinnati. The additional offices are located in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Detroit, Michigan, and Mount Holly, New Jersey. The firm will be opening an office in Chicago in 2004. The firm is a unique combination of attorneys and debt collectors providing all facets of creditor representation, including a heavy emphasis on consumer debt collection.

Mr. Weinberg regularly represents creditors with regard to the enforcement of their rights, including the collection of monies as well as the enforcement of their interests in collateral. The firm's clients include creditors of all sizes, including many debt buyers, and he has had extensive experience in collecting both prime and sub-prime portfolios. He has filed numerous replevin actions to obtain possession of collateral and attachments to restrain property prior to judgment. He has represented numerous clients in both first party and third party foreclosure actions. Mr. Weinberg currently serves as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General on debt collection matters.

Mr. Weinberg has been a frequent lecturer for numerous programs, including presentations on behalf of the Ohio CLE Institute, the National Business Institute, Inc., the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, and the Cleveland Bar Association, Cuyahoga County Bar Association, and the Northern Ohio Credit Association. He presented the Debtor/Creditor portion of the Practice and Procedure Clinic for the Cleveland Bar Association for eight years. In addition, he has taught in the Continuing Education Program of the Cleveland Public Schools in conjunction with the Cleveland Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union League.

Mr. Weinberg is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Ohio, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
