Stephanie McHenry is the President & Chief Operating Officer of ShoreBank in Cleveland, OH, a State Chartered, Federal Reserve Bank member, with $70 million in assets. Along with its affiliate organization, ShoreBank Enterprise, ShoreBank has invested more than $90 million in Cleveland's eastside neighborhoods or to minority-owned businesses, and has financed the construction or rehabilitation of more than 1,600 units of affordable housing and the redevelopment of more than one million square feet of commercial and industrial space. Ms. McHenry serves as the bank's senior operating officer and guides its activity to insure profitability while it achieves its business and community development goals. Prior to joining the bank, Ms. McHenry served as the Senior Director, Minority Business Development for The Greater Cleveland Growth Association, where she led the Growth Association's successful efforts to support minority business growth, development and success. She has also served as the Executive Director of the Northern Ohio Minority Business Council (NOMBC). An active participant in many organizations, she is a director of the Greater Cleveland Partnership and a member of the Finance Committee; EcoCity Cleveland and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of National Cooperative Bank (Washington, D.C.). Ms. McHenry is a 1984 graduate of Dartmouth College with a bachelor's degree in economics and currently resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
