Item Description

Courageous World War II Veterans flew these aircraft 60 years ago over enemy territory to ensure freedom would be returned to those from whom it was stolen. Now you and a guest will have the opportunity to take flight on the world's only fully restored and flying consolidated B-24 Liberator left in existence.

Flown during World War II over Europe and the Pacific, the aircraft was christened Dragon and His Tail in 1998 to pay tribute to the veterans who served in the Pacific Theater.

Lovingly restored to flying condition under the auspices of The Collings Foundation, the aircraft today participates in the Nationwide Wings of Freedom Tour, flying in over 120 cities across the United States and displayed to honor the veterans of World War II and their families.

This item includes a ride between cities for two people on the B-24, typically lasting 30-45 minutes.

You can choose from flights as simple as Plymouth, MA to Beverly, MA, or join the crew on the West Coast in California for a breathtaking flight over the Pacific Coast - you decide based upon the locations that the aircraft travels during the Wings of Freedom Tour.

During your flight, you will be able to explore the aircraft and occupy many of the positions that crew occupied during WWII, including the cockpit.

Item Special Note

Flight to be arranged through The Collings Foundation and is based upon the pre-arranged flight schedule of the aircraft during the Wings of Freedom Tour.

To view the aircraft's flight schedule in New England and around the country, visit www.collingsfoundation.org

This is a one-way trip between the cities that the aircraft flies during the Tour.
