Grammy® Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell has been captivating audiences around the globe for more than 20 years.

Known for his poetic musicality, Joshua came to national attention at age 14 with his highly acclaimed orchestral debut with Riccardo Muti and the Philadelphia Orchestra. A Carnegie Hall debut, the Avery Fisher Career Grant and a recording contract further confirmed his unique presence in the music world.

Now in his thirties, Joshua has performed with the world's leading symphony orchestras and conductors, recorded 27 albums and participated in events foreign to most classical artists, earning him the rare title of classical music superstar.

He received a Grammy Award for the Maw Violin Concerto. He was responsible for all violin sound for the film The Red Violin, which received the Academy Award® for Best Original Score by composer John Corigliano. Romance of the Violin was named by Billboard Magazine as the 2004 Classical Album of the Year which also cited Bell as the Classical Artist of the Year.

The Brevard Symphony Orchestra is pleased to welcome Joshua Bell to the King Center stage performing with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra.
