Item Special Note
As I received news of the death of my 17 year old daughter on June 20, 2005, I sat in my cell for almost two weeks as not to be bothered by others. As I was praying and thinking I took shoelaces and with an old talent of mine, produced this rocking chair. When this chair was nearly completed another inmate showed your magazine to me. I decided to offer this piece to the show in memory of my daughter. The rocking chair is made from shoelaces and empty ink cartages from bic pens. The talent and love can't be bought in the commissary.
