Item Description
This seven piece set; (6)sterling rounds and (1) bronze round is titled THE LINDBERGH MEMORIAL MEDALLION COLLECTION. The largest piece is 2 inches in diameter; the six (6) other pieces are 1 1/2 inches in diameter. All silver coins are beautifully engraved on a MIRROR surface and to enhance their details they have been FROSTED. The bronze coin also is engraved. This set comes in its original box of issue and has certificates of authenticity.
The bronze coin and the large silver coin both are engraved with the 50th Anniversary First Non-stop flight "Spirit of St. Louis" NY to Paris 1927-1977. The small silver coins are engraved with The Aviation Pioneer; The Scientist; The Vissionary; The Wartime Test Pilot; and The Conservationist.
Item Special Note
Original wood box with blue velvet interior is a limited edition and is Serial # 03708. The engraved faceplate lists the original owner's name. Also comes with the original cardboard box to house the entire collection.
