Item Description
This auction is for a 1920s Tudor style front door removed from a house in River Oaks, Houston. Door is of solid wood construction, with a slight arch across the top and scored to look as if it were assembled from individual boards of wood. The door measures 40" wide X 80" high (to the top of the arch)and is approx. 2 ¼" thick. The door features a rectangular opening that was originally filled with leaded glass. Unfortunately, this glass piece is missing and the hole has been filled with plywood. Door is being sold without the hardware. Hardware for this door is Auction Item 499 and is being auctioned separately.

All items can be viewed at Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse located at 1307 W. Clay. No shipping is available on any of the items in Historic Houston's Spring 2006 auction. Payment for auction items can be made by Visa and Mastercard ONLY. Auction items must be picked up at Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse by April 30, 2006. Auction items left over 30 days will be made available to the public and any payments collected will be considered a donation to Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse.
