Item Description
This auction item is for a Talio-Crome reproduction of the watercolor On The Job by A. Lassell Ripley. Aiden Lassell Ripley was one of Boston's most distinguished artists and, as president of the Guild of Boston Artists for ten years, 1959 to 1969, was also one of Boston's most beloved. Using oils, watercolors, and graphics, he devoted himself to wildlife subjects. This picture was a gift from the Big "6" Drilling Company of Houston in c. 1940.

All items can be viewed at Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse located at 1307 W. Clay. No shipping is available on any of the items in Historic Houston's Spring 2006 auction. Payment for auction items can be made by Visa and MasterCard ONLY. Auction items must be picked up at Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse by April 30, 2006. Auction items left over 30 days will be made available to the public and any payments collected will be considered a donation to Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse.
