Item Description
This auction item is for a fireplace mantle removed from a circa 1930's W. University house. The fireplace mantle has overall dimensions of 75" wide by 53 1/2" tall and a top ledge that projects out 12 1/2" from the wall. The interior opening dimensions are 57" wide by 41" tall. This mantle is very unique in that it was built to fit around a projected fireplace wall but could easily be modified to fit a typical flat fireplace surface. The mantle is painted white and has a decorative shell motif and is in excellent condition.

All items can be viewed at Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse located at 1307 W. Clay. No shipping is available on any of the items in Historic Houston's Spring 2006 auction. Payment for auction items can be made by Visa and MasterCard ONLY. Auction items must be picked up at Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse by April 30, 2006. Auction items left over 30 days will be made available to the public and any payments collected will be considered a donation to Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse.
