About the Authors
Melissa Matthay is a yarn-shop owner and designer for top yarn manufacturers such as Colinette and Tahki. Sheryl Thies is a writer and knitting instructor at Melissa's shop, The Knitting Tree. This is their second Martingale & Company® book.
The Knitting Tree is a cozy yarn shop in Wisconsin, specializing in natural fiber and exotic yarns with a complete range of wonderful garment designs, patterns, books and knotting accessories. We offer knitting classes at our shop, custom knit design and finishing help anywhere! Melissa Matthay has been knitting beautiful sweaters since 1970. She has designed over 600 knitwear garments, written 5 books, as well as commissions for international yarn manufacturers.
