Franciscan's Madeira earthenware (not to be confused with the glassware of the same name) is a rare and hard-to-find pattern. Pieces have a dark brown background with a complex pattern of green and tannish flowers. There is a wide border of green around the rim. Except for the platters, the serving pieces do not have the floral design. The pattern came out in 1967 and was produced until 1983.
