Escape for a night with our Romance Package. Guests arriving for a night of romance in this historic boutique hotel are welcomed into a luxurious Signature Suite with Champagne and Roses and are invited to enjoy a three-course Dinner for Two in Spats Restaurant, located adjacent to our Lobby. Upon return to their room they will find scrumptious Signature Sweets from our own Pastry Chef. In the morning, they may choose to have Breakfast in Bed or return to Spats for Breakfast for Two featuring Starbucks(r) coffee.
Designed and built by William Chancellor, a prominent Parkersburg businessman, in 1889, the Blennerhasset Hotel was a grand showplace that radiated the captivating atmosphere of the gaslight era. Registered as a national historic landmark, the european charm of the hotel is seen in the architecture and original antiques that have been part of the hotel from its beginning. From specialty shops and one-of-a-kind craftsmanship to historical landmarks, challenging golf and beautiful scenery, the Ohio River Valley is a treasure trove when you are looking for an exciting weekend getaway or relaxing vacation.
