Bob Blanken is an award winning wedding, corporate and special event photographer. Having photographed hundreds of weddings and social events for over thirty-five years, Mr. Blanken provides an experience with his photography, employing a quiet, unobtrusive approach. With careful attention to detail, his images are personal, memorable and intemporal. Mr. Blanken is a certified member of the Professional Photographers of America, having earned their Craftsman degree, while serving as a National Council member and local past president in the D.C. area. He is currently the Vice President of the D.C. chapter of the International Special Events Society. Bob Blanken's many awards include ISES 2006 and 2002 Social Photographer of the Year, 2005 & 2003 Intl. Esprit Nominee, 2003 Corporate Photographer of the Year, and was nominated 17 times as Photographer of the Year during his career.
