Item Description
Dr. Frank Milligan, Director of Lincoln Cottage, a National Trust Historic Site, will personally lead an hour-long tour for up to four people of the Cottage at the President Lincoln and Soldiers' Home National Monument in Washington, DC. This site was President Lincoln's home and sanctuary during the summer months of the Civil War, and where he worked on drafting the Emancipation Proclamation. Lincoln Cottage is currently undergoing restoration and is not yet open to the public. The unique experience of being allowed to explore Lincoln's seasonal residence is made even more exceptional by having Dr. Milligan personally illustrate the historic significance of and the ongoing preservation efforts at the site.
Item Special Note
Subject to availability with Dr. Milligan's schedule. Must call in advance to make reservations. Valid through May 31, 2007.
