Item Description
A 3 hour, one on one photo lesson out in the field with Ahmad Terry, a two-time Pultizer Prize winning photographer. Terry will give directive to an aspiring photographer as they photograph a subject of their liking.
Ahmad was born and raised in the Denver metro area. Graduated from Grambling State University in Louisiana in 1997. Joined the staff at the Rocky Mountain News in June 1997. His first day on the job was the verdict of Oklahoma City bombing suspect Timothy McVeigh. One of the few staffers that has dual rolls as photo editors and photographer. Ahmad won Pulitzer Prizes for the Columbine School Massacre and Colorado Wildfires. He covered the beginning of the war in Iraq in 2003 as a embedded photojournalist. When not riding his bike or taking photographs, Ahmad spends his time with his wonderful girlfriend Dennette and Robbie, thebest dog ever.
