Item Description
Flower Drum Song lobby card personally signed by Nancy Kwan and James Shigeta. 1961 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical comedy based on life in San Francisco's Chinatown. The film was unusual in that it was a Hollywood production with an almost all-Asian cast. Nancy Kwan plays Linda Low, a showgirl at a mythical night club in San Francisco. Her singing and dancing in this movie is unforgetable with "I Enjoy Being a Girl" arguable the most famous scene in the movie. Her co star James Shigeta plays Wang Ta who is competing with a night club owner for Low's affection. An accomplished singer, his baritone voice is memorable.
