Item Description
The Curse of the Bambino had haunted the Boston Red Sox for 84 years. It was in 1920 that Red Sox owner Harry Frazee sold Babe Ruth's contract to the New York Yankees. Since then the Yankees went on to win 26 Championships while the Red Sox appeared in only four World Series since 1918, losing each seven games. That all changed in 2004, when the Red Sox broke the curse, beating the rival Yankees in the playoffs before defeating the St. Louis Cardinal in the World Series. This framed dynasty collage captures David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Curt Schilling, and the 2004 World Series Champions, the Boston Red Sox. Approximate size: 18.25"x42".
