Item Special Note
This prison themed painting was inspired by the abuse and corruption in prisons throughout the world. Most jails and prisons are plagued with overcrowding, medical neglect, brutal suffering, and abuse. The American flag is weeping in "Patience," symbolizing a failed justice system. Skulls replace the stars to represent the suicides, medical neglect deaths, and wrongful convictions/executions. Over 2.3 million are locked up in this country, more than any other nation. Something needs to change.
