"Almost Free" by Michael Brown
- Item Number
- 057
- Opening Bid

Item Description
12''x9''; pencil drawing on 150 lb card stock paper
Item Special Note
My inspiration for this piece is a marble sculpture by Michelangelo from 1527-8 called "The Cross Legged Captive." To the artist it seemed that he was freeing the emerging figure - the embodiment of his idea- from its prison of stone. I have named it "Almost Free."
