Many people fail to realize that Christ was a convict. So every prisoner has something in common with the son of God. We cannot forget this, and we can not forget the light that shines within so many who are convicted. Also Christ represents all of us prisoners who were convicted and sentenced unfairly. Do you think God would lock someone in a prison cell for life for stealing a slice of pizza because he was hungry? Or do you think he would forgive him? That's not why I myself have life, but that is a true example. Most prisoners are victims of the areas in which they were raised. Class and race has much to do with the path that leads us to these hell holes we are forced to exist in. And even the darkness in here is created by those who run the prisons, not those who are forced to live in them. We didn't make this environment, it was made for us. And it is made for punishment, not rehabilitation.
