Item Special Note
I knew that the one things I didn't want to do was what people consider "prison art" (i.e. cell bars, barbed wired, hand cuffs). Those things may symbolize where we are but don't give any insight into who we are. And isn't showing who we are the whole point? So, I decided to just draw that which I miss the most: everday life. A scene which most people would walk past without even noticing. That's what I did, lived my life without ever stopping to appreciate all the little moments in life. Things that meant nothing to me then and are now lost to me.
