Item Special Note
The picture I drew is named "Innocence." I named it this because it captures two young children sitting on a park bench sneaking a kiss. It's just a sweet innocent little kiss. The reason I drew this picture is because I am from New Orleans and I have been through a lot in the past year. Hurricane Katrina wiped out a lot of my family's things, plus a lot of people I've grown up around lost everything. That is what brought about this picture. I wanted to capture the innocence of youth. A period when I really didn't do anything wrong, or when I did you could blame it on the innocence of youth. Some may interpret this in a different way and that is the beauty of art. We only are allowed to use these small flexible pens so if I had some other utensils to sketch with it maybe a better picture, but I guess I am my worst critic. So please enjoy this moment of "innocence."
