Kazimir Light (Sconce for the Wei Apartment in NYC)
Diffusion material and grommets
12" x 12" variable
1992

About Kazimir Light
Ensminger's Kazimir sconces were created for the Turner-Wei residence in New York City, 1992. He worked with the architects, Paola Iacucci and Laura Briggs on the project.

The language of this project is an extended modernism, one where the structural forms give a sense of light and movement-- both real and implied. The sconce attempts to enhance this language.

About Bradford Ensminger
Bradford Ensminger has been a graphic designer and art director for the past 35 years. He has worked for many notable firms including House & Garden magazine, Knoll and various divisions at Estee Lauder.
