About Kazimir Light
Ensminger's Kazimir sconces were created for the Turner-Wei residence in New York City, 1992. He worked with the architects, Paola Iacucci and Laura Briggs on the project.
The language of this project is an extended modernism, one where the structural forms give a sense of light and movement-- both real and implied. The sconce attempts to enhance this language.
