LIFESTYLE, FL- Cook with the master in a hands-on cooking class for two in Chef Allen's glass-enclosed kitchen. This 'hands on' cooking class will illustrate the building blocks of great cooking and guide you through the principles of fundamental cooking methods whether you are a novice or a gourmand. Your class begins with a discussion with Chef Allen about his cooking style and culinary philosophy, after which you will join him in the kitchen, along with his staff where you will participate in the 'behind the scenes' activity of a professional restaurant kitchen. Following your class, you, your cooking partner and two additional guests will sit down to enjoy dinner for four including paired wines, all selected by Chef Allen personally.
Chef Allen, the leading chef in South Florida and the innovator of New World cuisine, has presented his global fare in an art gallery of a dining room that is sometimes referred to as his temple of local gastronomy, since 1986. If anyone deserves to have a restaurant named after him, its chef Allen Susser, winner of the James Beard Award for Best American Chef in the Southeast, as well as a multitude of other awards.
