4-foot tall metal yard bird sculpture
Thomas Crimboli is a local Detroit artist with over thirty years of experience. Tom wins numerous awards every year and his art is displayed in exclusive private collections, galleries, and fine art stores. Tom is a self-taught artist, that developed his God-given talent initially as a silversmith. Tom has also done lapidary, composing castings and unique settings. Tom then moved up to forming sculptures from copper, brass, stainless steel and masonry nails and other found objects.. Tom's work reflects his enjoyment in his art with the abstract, modern and humorous shapes he produces.
Tom's work has been featured in Washington, DC on Christmas tree at the Capital building. He has been featured on numerous television and newspaper media events, as well as private gallery shows. Tom's has been permanently installed in numerous businesses and public locations.
Tom uses common discarded metal parts to make unique shapes such as animals, birds, playing or having fun. He also has great out-door garden pieces that just fits right in with nature. Other areas of focus for Tom is wall hangings and clocks in abstract shapes with unique finishes.
