Item Description

If you love art and music, especially jazz, you'll be blown away by "Love That Jazz", a seriolithograph by Marcus Glenn.  This American artist is known for his use of vibrant color and texturing effects which result in truly spectacular works of art.  This work measures overall 9 x 11-1/2" (image is 7-1/4 x 9-1/2") and is signed in the plate.  It is on heavy, textured paper, ready for framing.  Perfect for any music room, den, or anywhere for a brilliant splash of color!  This work was released in 2005, carries Park West Gallery registration number 151808 and comes with Park West Certificate of Authenticity and artist bio.  Seriolithographs are created via silk screen over lithograph, and the colors practically jump off the page!

Marcus is considered one of the most exicitng of a new breed of young African-American artists to emerge in recent years. His work deals with issues that continue to fascinate him, like the creative process of making art; the solitary experience of the artist, the dialog between art and the viewer, (Marcus will often incorporate the works of other artists into his imagery); and music, mostly Jazz. Many enjoy stepping into his realm of colorful and unique imagery.
