Founded by Ann Wilder in Baltimore, MD in 1981, Vanns was the product of a frustrated hobby cook who loved Indian cuisine but could not readily find the high quality spice blend needed to make Tandoori. So, she created it. In the process, she discovered the best spice growers in the world and developed a thriving business that offers more than 300 of the richest, purest and freshest herbs and spices and that doesn't include 80 of their own spice and herb blends.
There is no irradiation or ethylene oxide that leaves chemical residues. In addition, no sugar, preservative, fillers, MSG or salt are added to Vanns herbs or spices; so you get clean, natural tastes.

Basket includes split red lentils, kasha, whole wheat couscous, as well as Hawaiian red sea salt, chipotle chili powder, Chesapeake Bay seafood seasoning, barbeque rub, Herbes de Provence, Sonoma seasoning, Ethiopian Berbere, rainbow peppercorns, lemon pepper seasoning, fajita seasoning, Tunisian five seasoning, and tea-smoked sea salt.
