Item Description

You are bidding on an unaccompanied cello perfomance on a four string or rare five string cello. The artist will perform selections from Bach's suites for unaccompanied cello, some Scottish folk tunes, and/or Christmas carols for one hour (or more for a very generous bid). This performance is available in the Triangle and up to an hour outside of the area. The time for the performance must be agreed upon between the musician and the winning bidder, but generally Sunday afternoons and weekday evenings are available.  Perfect for your holiday party!

From the artist: My area of study is the history of the cello. I have a doctorate in that field from the University of Oxford. I have studied with William Pleeth (Jacqueline du Pre's teacher), Fred Raimi, and others. I also old a Master's of Performance in cello from Auburn University, and an nterdisciplinary studies bachelors from UNC-CH where my honors work was in the history of the cello.
