Item Description
Steve Cone leads Epsilon’s Strategic Marketing Services practice, working directly with clients to design, implement, measure, and optimize multi-channel marketing programs. Steve has established an industry-wide reputation for developing programs that drive results, strengthen brands, and deepen customer relationships by communicating relevant, highly targeted messages across a spectrum of media in integrated campaigns.
Widely considered a leading authority on financial services marketing, Steve is the author of the best-selling, “Steal These Ideas: Marketing Secrets That Will Make You a Star,” and a highly acclaimed lecturer. His 30-year career in marketing and brand management includes serving as managing director and head of advertising and brand management at Citigroup Global Wealth Management. He also coordinated worldwide brand management across all of Citigroup’s businesses in more than 100 countries.
Previously he served as president of Fidelity’s retail business and the company’s chief marketing officer, leading Fidelity’s entrée into discount brokerage, and significantly boosting the company’s mutual fund sales. Steve also served on the executive team at Key Corp and at American Express where he managed the company’s worldwide branding strategy.
Be sure to look for his upcoming book, scheduled to be released spring 2008, Powerlines: Words That Sell Brands, Grip Fans, and Sometimes Change the World. This new book unlocks marketing's biggest mystery: how to conjure the words that make a product irresistible. Steve calls these exceptional slogans powerlines.
Don't miss an unforgettable lunch with this living legend.
