Item Description
WINE- After 35 years of producing high quality wines that define their varietal category, Dry Creek Vineyard decided it was time for a change, and in 2003, noted winemaker Bill Knuttel was hired to implement a new vision for their winery. Part of this new vision is the release of their new proprietary blend called The Mariner. Just released, the new wine is a blend of the five noble Bordeaux varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. The Mariner exudes exotic aromas of wild cherry, blackberry and dried roses, followed by dark fruit characters; it is a multidimensional wine, rich and succulent, nuanced with chocolate, cassis and seamless, well-integrated tannins, ending in a harmonious, balanced and finesseful finish - a wine just begging for another sip.
-One 3L bottle of 2004 Dry Creek Vineyard The Mariner Dry Creek Valley
