My perspective has also been broadened by serving as an advisor, a mentor and as a manager throughout my career. I have been writing articles on financial planning for several regional newspapers. I have also conducted financial planning workshops on financial planning concerns at Accenture, AOL, AT&T, Booz Allen Hamilton, Fannie Mae, IBM, Lockheed Martin, Lucent, the University of Maryland as well as various federal agencies and advocacy groups. Giving Back…We pride ourselves on our philanthropic efforts. Our goal is to give back to the community that has helped us grow. I am a member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (Bronze Pioneer), a Partners member of HRC, Equality Maryland, the Sierra Club, the University of Maryland Alumni Association, the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, Pride Planners, the Alexandria Gay and Lesbian Community Association, Canton Community Association and the ASPCA.
