You are bidding on five hours of fundraising consulting for your favorite nonprofit organization. Veteran fundraiser Mike Crum of TMC Consulting will help your organization research new foundation supporters, draft your year-end appeal, organize your member database, or a variety of other projects. Mike is based in Durham, so this consultation will work best for organizations based in the Triangle or who have projects that can be completed by phone. Consultation hours must be used before the end of 2008.
About Mike:
Mike Crum has over 12 years of professional management and fund development experience with a wide variety of national, statewide, and local nonprofit organizations. He helped re-establish a statewide nonprofit by building a sustainable funding base and assembling 3 Boards of Directors (c3, c4, and PAC). He spearheaded the revitalization of an organization's funding base from 5 weeks to 8 months of reserves in one year. He has provided management consulting services to over 300 businesses, helped develop North Carolina's first Spanish language microenterprise training program, and has recruited and managed hundreds of volunteers. Activism and community services are central to Mike's life. His wide array of professional and volunteer activities have led him to a host of diverse organizations and populations, which reflects his commitment to create and sustain positive social change.
