Item Description
The original bronze casting of this sculpture is in the RAA's permanent collection, a gift of the artist, Richard Recchia (1885-1983). The piece measures approximately 10" high by 10" deep and 20" across. It is believed to portray a young man during the great depression.
Recchia lived in Rockport and was an illustrator, muralist and sculptor, and his work is in the permanent collections of the National Academy Design in NYC, the San Diego Museum of Art and the RAA. His work has been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Corcoran Gallery Biennial, National Academy of Design, National Sculpture Society, North Shore Art Association, Panama Pacific Exhibition of 1915, Pennsylvania Academy, Rockport Art Association, Society of Independent Artists and St. Botolph Club-Boston

The RAA will have a bronze casting custom made for the winning bidder of this charming sculpture by Richard Recchia.
This item can be shipped via UPS (contact the RAA for a delivery estimate) or picked up at the Art Association. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
