Item Description
Enjoy a four-night stay at this 4-star Michael Graves creation that is an oversized postmodern remake of ancient Rome complete with siege towers. The stylish contemporary lobby looks fresh from its recent renovation. The work touched on all of the public areas and guest rooms.
The pool area is a shrunken postmodern remake of the The Beverly Hills Hotel with its canopied tents and stark loggia. The pool, set within an amphitheater of fountains, has lap lanes and a whirlpool. Two lighted tennis courts are on the premises. For a fee, guests can use the sports facilities at the opulent and enormous health club in the Aventine complex.
The revamped accommodations reach a high standard and are appointed with fine hardwood furniture, desks, phones with voice mail and data ports, TVs in armoires, minibars, coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards, and plush marble-clad combination baths with robes. The new soft goods are in handsome earth tones. Valid one year from event date.
