Item Description
"In Time For The Holidays" is a lovely oil on panel painting by renowned artist and RAA member Kathryn Tuck. It measures 11x14'' and is accented by a traditional silver frame with white matting.
This one-of-a-kind work of art captures the feeling of a quiet winter's day in New England, and would make for a wonderful holiday gift. The painting features a traditional wooden home blanketed in freshly fallen snow, bathed in sunshine, with a charming American Flag and holiday wreath adorning the entrance.
Tuck began her art education as a child in Rockport. Leaning a slice of wall board - salvaged from continuous renovations at Tuck Inn – against a rock at the edge of an art class, she painted with the greats. After earning a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tufts University and a Master of Education for Regis College, her love of painting matured into private study with Ted Goerschner. Kathryn is a member of the Copley Society and the Rockport Art Association where she serves on the Board of Governors. She has won several awards, and her work is included in private and corporate collections across the country and abroad. Kathryn has recently retired from a 31-year teaching career at Melrose Middle School, and now paints full time.
