Rockport Art Association's President, Ronald Straka, will teach private oil painting lessons for one person (suitable for the beginning painter as well as the advanced!)
Three 3-hour lessons will be taught at the Tutwiler-Vickery Gallery at 53 Main Street, Rockport MA 01966.
A gifted art teacher of students at all levels, Ron himself studied with many eminent Cape Ann artists. He considers himself most fortunate to have had Paul Strisik as mentor and friend. Ron is also an accomplished photographer (studying with Ansel Adams)whose work has been included in shows at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and The DeCordova Museum, Lincoln, MA.
Artist memberships: Rockport Art Association (current president, former Board of Governors), North Shore Arts Association (former president, Honorary Member), Academic Artists Association and the International Society of Marine Painters. He is listed in Who’s Who in The World, International Men of Achievement, and International Who’s Who of Intellectuals.
