The print features a finely designed and detailed sketch of a lobster shack in the historic town of Rockport, MA.

Leonard G. Joiner was born in Beverly, Massachusetts in 1943 and lived in Andover, Massachusetts from age three to thirty. Involved in drawing at an early age, he attended Vesper George School of Art from 1963-1965, and worked at Raytheon as an artist from 1969-2001. Joiner currently resides on a working farm in Methuen, Massachusetts, which has been his home for the last 18 years.

“My medium is graphite, which is great because I can work on it just about anywhere. Always Keeping my eyes open for New England farm and country scenes.  Not always focusing on the big picture but hunting for that close-up or unique angle. I have a keen interest in form, texture and the seasonal light.
