Item Description
This stunning pastel landscape painting, by renowned artist and RAA member Andrew Anderson-Bell, features a rich, brilliant color palette. Measuring 14.5x15", this stunning work of art comes ready to hang in your home or office.
Writes the artist, "Inspired by the great outdoors, my work depicts coastal Maine and the conservation land, beaches, farmland and marshes of the North Shore of Massachusetts. I attempt to convey nature’s incantations: wind whispering through bows of spruce, waves lapping against the shore, the rumble of thunder. I examine the spectrum of nature from the graceful dance of field grass to the fury of ocean surf. Sometimes a distant sail or weathered fence post acts as a reminder of humanity. I offer the viewer a meditative space to contemplate the grandeur of nature and reinforce the notion that even the most tranquil moments have significance."
