Item Description
"Blue Reflections" was taken under the docks at the Gloucester Marine Railway. The brilliant blue of the water was enhanced with an on-camera filter. It is custom printed on EPSON large format printer with Archival Epson inks. Photo size is 23" H x 15 1/2" wide. It comes framed, size 30" Hx 23" W, ready to hang in your home.
Gloucester photographer, Judy Robinson-Cox uses the camera as a tool to create abstract art. "One of the joys of photography for me is in discovering striking compositions and relationships in unlikely places such as boatyards and abandoned buildings. My goal with this work is to create images that convey the aesthetic experience I felt when taking the photograph."
Judy studied painting and photography at New York University and the University of Connecticut where she received a BFA. She later studied graphic design at Philadelphia College of Art and became a graphic designer. She has lived and worked on Cape Ann for over 20 years.
